Head of Finance Transformation and Systems | Raymond James

The Tone:

• Team: Leads multiple leaders responsible for systems, PMO, and transformation functions.
• Mission: Leads the strategic vision, governance, and execution of Finance technology, data, operational transformation, and process excellence initiatives.
• Tech Stack: ERP platforms, EPM platforms, financial reporting systems, accounting systems, close and consolidation platforms, budgeting tools, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation technologies, advanced analytics, data governance frameworks.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy: Establish and execute the long-term Finance transformation strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Systems Oversight: Provide executive oversight of all Finance systems and applications, establishing governance, ownership models, and strategic roadmaps.
• Process Excellence: Lead enterprise Finance process improvement programs across all functional areas, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
• Technology Adoption: Develop and execute the Finance AI strategy and adoption roadmap, evaluating emerging technologies for Finance operations and reporting.
• Organizational Leadership: Lead multiple leaders across systems, PMO, and transformation functions, developing organizational capabilities and fostering a culture of innovation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, with an executive background in finance transformation, financial systems, and process improvement.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance transformation, financial systems, process improvement, technology, or consulting, including 8+ years of leadership experience managing large teams and senior leaders. Must have demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology implementations, process transformation initiatives, and overseeing large project portfolios.
• Skills: Enterprise transformation leadership, financial systems (ERP, EPM), data governance, program and project management methodologies, business process improvement, artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
• Bonus: Experience within financial services or a highly regulated industry.
