• Mission: Serve as the main point of contact for gathering and tracking demand data to inform future planning processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Liaise: Act as the primary liaison between multiple sites and cross-functional teams to gather, consolidate, and analyze demand data.
• Develop: Develop and maintain an accurate 18–24‑month rolling demand plan incorporating internal and external factors.
• Lead: Prepare for and lead SIOP meetings, ensuring demand plans align with business priorities, market conditions, and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with Business Development, PMO, and Engineering to understand customer requirements, market dynamics, and upcoming opportunities.
• Improve: Drive continuous improvement to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of demand planning processes across multiple sites.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience in production planning, demand planning, or supply chain; or a Master’s degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: At least 4 years in planning, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain, including a minimum of 2 years of dedicated demand planning experience (preferably within aerospace & defense and supporting multiple sites). Requires 4+ years working with SIOP processes and principles and 4+ years with ERP systems (specifically Deltek Costpoint) for demand and inventory management. Additionally, 2+ years of experience with supply chain best practices including inventory optimization and risk management.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, expertise with demand planning software, and strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Ability to lead and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Bonus: A degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical field. Knowledge of aerospace & defense industry regulations and market dynamics. Experience supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) requirements in a Program Management and Engineering‑driven organization. Proficiency with MRP systems and related planning tools. Expertise in master scheduling, capacity planning, production planning, and inventory management. APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
