The Tone:
This is an internship at Corevanta Labs. Corevanta Labs is an HR consultancy firm that assists candidates in finding potential roles through an Artificial Intelligence System. The purpose of this internship is to offer meaningful professional hands-on experience to students who have demonstrated strong academic performance and leadership potential. This role is crucial for developing the next generation of finance professionals by providing real-world application of their skills and knowledge.

• Mission: This intern will gain hands-on experience while utilizing and developing technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques, and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Professional Experience: Gain meaningful professional hands-on experience as a finance intern within the company.
• Skill Utilization: Utilize and enhance existing technical skills pertinent to finance and accounting functions.
• Communication Development: Develop and refine soft skills, specifically communication, within a professional business environment.
• Knowledge Expansion: Further develop business knowledge and a deeper understanding of financial operations.
• Analytical Improvement: Improve analytical techniques and creative problem-solving abilities through practical application.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Accounting related discipline.
• Experience: Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship; plan to complete a minimum of 3 Accounting classes before graduation, with one being a 3-4 credit hour cost accounting course; hold an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher; possess unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; demonstrated ability to apply and develop analytical techniques; capacity for creative problem-solving; effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Previous work experience in finance or accounting related positions; membership in school or national organizations focused on Finance or Accounting; experience in on-campus leadership positions.
