Finance Intern – Summer 2027 | Burlington Stores, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Burlington Stores, Inc., located in Burlington, NJ, operating on a hybrid schedule. What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting by interpreting financial trends to support strategic decision making.
• Report: Support management with accurate quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly financial reporting.
• Organize: Maintain and organize critical financial data for easy access and reference.
• Present: Help prepare clear presentations and dashboards to communicate financial insights.
• Collaborate: Engage with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects and identify process improvement opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ability to manage/analyze/interpret financial data, critical thinking with high attention to detail, and effective listening, oral, and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Affinity for finance, accounting, data analytics, or related fields; demonstrates initiative, curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously learn and grow; ability to build and maintain productive partnerships.
