What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post monthly journal entries with supporting documentation for various accounting adjustments.
• Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate any identified variances.
• Close Processes: Assist with comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct month-end analytical reviews of trial balance accounts, providing explanations for material fluctuations.
• Compliance: Maintain adherence to company accounting policies and established internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1+ years of general accounting experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, array formulas, and data analysis.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Bonus: Experience with Oracle, ERP systems, or large-scale accounting software; experience working in a multi-entity or multi-location environment.
