Morrison Healthcare Executive Fellowship Program | Compass Healthcare
The Tone:
This is a 12–18-month, full-time paid Executive Fellowship Program primarily based in Seattle, with significant travel required across Washington, Oregon, California, and Alaska. Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is a national leader in healthcare food and nutrition services, serving more than 1,000 hospitals and healthcare systems across the country. The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, Seattle, WA (covering WA, OR, CA, AK)
• Pay: $95,000–$130,000 yearly
• Team: Works collaboratively with Morrison executive and C-suite leadership, Directors, Regional Directors of Operations, and Regional Vice Presidents.
• Mission: To equip recent and soon-to-be graduate degree holders with the operational and strategic skills needed to become future leaders in healthcare food and nutrition services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Immersion: Immerse yourself in the intricacies of healthcare food and nutrition services operations through rotations in retail, culinary, patient services, and clinical settings.
• Strategic Engagement: Participate in high-level strategic planning, engage in critical client interactions, and contribute to technology implementations designed to advance service delivery.
• Project Leadership: Lead and actively contribute to impactful projects including client quarterly business reviews, annual budget process development, sales process participation, technology implementation and adoption, and new business openings. A culminating Capstone Project is also required.
• Executive Collaboration: Collaborate directly with Morrison executive and C-suite leadership, gaining unparalleled access, and work directly with prestigious healthcare system clients to understand their needs.
• Structured Development & Field Experience: Engage in extensive orientation, leadership development through the Morrison Regional Leadership Academy, skill enhancement via Harvard Manage Mentor, and spend 2-3 weeks a month in the field for ongoing operational immersion.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent or soon-to-be graduate degree holders, with a master’s level preferred, demonstrating a strong interest in leadership and healthcare.
• Experience: Prior professional work experience, particularly from graduate programs requiring it, is essential.
• Skills: Possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with a diverse background and skill set.
• Bonus: A willingness to relocate for the program.
