2027 Global Management Trainee Program – USA | Hunter Douglas, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time Leadership Development program at Hunter Douglas, Inc., located in the USA, requiring relocation to major hubs. Hunter Douglas is the world’s leading manufacturer of window coverings and a significant producer of architectural products, known for over 100 years of innovation, offering proprietary products with revolutionary style and functionality. This role is crucial for developing future leaders who will gain a holistic view of the business, immersing themselves in company culture and industry, and contributing directly to the company’s purpose and growth objectives.

The TL;DR

• Location: Hybrid – USA (Relocation required to Atlanta, GA, Broomfield, CO, or Irvine, CA)
• Pay: $80000 yearly + sign-on/relocation bonus
• Team: Hand-selected and sponsored by the Executive Leadership Team
• Mission: Develop future organizational leaders by providing comprehensive business tools and experiences to contribute to company purpose.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Onboard: Complete three weeks of comprehensive onboarding, starting with one week at your assigned local hub, followed by a Global Induction at our Hunter Douglas HQ. This induction provides a thorough introduction to the company’s strategy, culture, diverse products, sales channels, and established problem-solving approaches.
• Rotate: Participate in five months of Field Training, rotating through key areas of our value chain including Sales, Supply, Logistics, Product, and Customer Service, gaining hands-on experience by actively participating in daily operations and project work during each rotation.
• Train: Attend one week of dedicated Leadership and Methodology training designed to foster a unified system-thinking approach across the organization and prepare trainees effectively for their initial individual project work.
• Project: Deliver tangible and measurable results during a four-month individual project as an active team member, applying learned methodology skills and technical knowledge.
• Place: Present your capstone project findings to Leadership, receiving feedback, and securing final placement into a full-time role upon program completion. This placement is designed to support your continued leadership development and long-term career growth within Hunter Douglas, with positions available in Sales, Operations (Supply, Logistics, Procurement), Product, or Functional areas.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with an anticipated bachelor’s or master’s degree graduation date no later than June 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership capabilities through extracurricular activities, including job experiences, internships, student clubs and organizations, and volunteer work.
• Skills: Required full mobility and readiness to relocate to one of Hunter Douglas’s major location hubs (Atlanta, GA, Broomfield, CO, or Irvine, CA), embracing diverse environments including front line roles, manufacturing plants, and regional offices. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to transition as needed throughout the four-month project and during their final placement.
