The Tone:
This is an internship at RÖDL USA, located across multiple offices in the U.S., including Atlanta, GA, and Manhattan, NY. RÖDL USA is a firm focused on providing accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting professional services to foreign, family-owned midsized businesses operating in the U.S., primarily German-speaking and European entities. This role is crucial for gaining practical experience in US-American and German auditing and tax consulting, contributing to an interdisciplinary team that serves a truly global client base. The intern will gain insights and experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collect practical experience across all facets of US-American and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Participate in training sessions covering diverse areas such as ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, bank reconciliation, cash audits, and tax estimations.
• Collaborate within a high-performing and interdisciplinary team to support various accounting, auditing, and tax projects.
• Undertake demanding tasks in an international work environment, engaging with foreign-owned US subsidiaries.
• Contribute to the integrated approach to client success by prioritizing internal synergy across departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university student with at least three semesters completed in economics studies, specializing in (international) accounting, auditing, and/or taxes. This is an Entry-Level internship.
• Experience: Possess initial theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes, demonstrating self-initiative and independent working methods.
• Skills: Fluent knowledge of German and English in both written and spoken communication, strong analytical capabilities, high commitment to performance, and a robust quality awareness.
• Bonus: Prior internships abroad and additional qualifications are considered advantageous.
