CAAS Accounting Analyst – Family Office (Professional Services) | CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen)

The Analyst’s work is fundamental to ensuring accurate financial records and effective client service within CLA’s collaborative and diverse culture.

• Mission: Support family office clients by proactively managing their diverse accounting processes, from processing daily transactions and performing month-end reconciliations to assisting with quarterly and annual tax and audit preparations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Service and Account Management: Provide essential support in the comprehensive management of diverse client portfolios, which includes diligently overseeing specific accounting software applications and maintaining the accuracy and structure of various charts of accounts across daily, weekly, and monthly operational cycles.
• Routine Transaction Processing: Execute the precise processing and recording of a full spectrum of daily financial transactions, encompassing the accurate handling of accounts payable, tracking cash disbursements, managing accounts receivable, recording cash receipts, and ensuring proper posting and recording of payroll-related entries.
• Period-End Closing Activities: Conduct thorough account reconciliations for various moderate to entry-level balance sheet accounts, such as prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals. This also involves supporting the accurate preparation, understanding, and review of basic to moderate financial statements, including general ledger, cashflow statements, and allocation schedules, with the potential to develop process backups as guided by leadership.
• Quarterly and Annual Compliance Support: Actively contribute to quarterly and annual financial compliance efforts by assisting in the preparation of sales tax returns and Form 1099s. This includes meticulously preparing detailed audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and various other financial forms or specific items as requested by clients to ensure comprehensive documentation.
