What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure Accuracy: You will work closely with department heads to understand their financial activities and ensure the comprehensive accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting data derived from their operations.
• Support Reporting: You will play a vital role in assisting with the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, extending to their accurate and timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Execute Close: You will meticulously prepare a range of financial statements and all necessary supporting schedules in strict adherence to the established monthly close schedule, ensuring efficient and accurate completion.
• Manage Data: You will be directly responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of diverse financial accounting data, encompassing information from a variety of areas within the accounting function.

The Must-Haves
• Background: We are seeking an Early-Career professional for this Staff Accountant role. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification specifically in Accounting or Finance, providing a solid theoretical foundation for the responsibilities outlined.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of practical experience specifically within an accounting environment is required. This experience should demonstrate a foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to the duties of a Staff Accountant.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an absolute requirement for this position, as it will be utilized extensively for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data and solve problems, alongside excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records effectively.
