The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Oracle Corporation, located in the US. Oracle builds and operates cloud infrastructure through its OCI Data Center Design & Construction organization. This role is critical for orchestrating complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring leadership priorities are translated into actionable plans and delivered through collaboration and data-driven decisions. • Mission: To translate ambiguous leadership priorities into actionable plans and deliver results through influence, consensus-building, and data-driven decision making for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Orchestrate complex projects requiring coordinated execution across various teams including Business Operations, HR, Finance, Data & Analytics, and Recruiting, establishing shared objectives and execution plans.
• Drive Strategic Execution: Translate leadership priorities and ambiguous business problems into concrete action plans, identifying stakeholders and establishing operating mechanisms to drive initiatives from concept to completion.
• Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build trusted relationships across all functions and organizational levels, using strong interpersonal skills and business judgment to reconcile competing perspectives, build consensus, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Develop Business Operations Strategies: Design and implement operating strategies, business plans, decision frameworks, and mechanisms to enhance organizational effectiveness, simplify work, and improve coordination to enable teams to operate at scale.
• Leverage Data for Insights: Partner with data and functional teams to develop metrics, analyses, dashboards, and executive insights, translating data into actionable recommendations to clarify business performance and support informed decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on business operations, strategy, or program management.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or program management, with demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives across multiple organizations.
• Skills: Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing skills; strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguous situations; strong business acumen to understand the intersection of various organizational priorities; excellent written and verbal executive communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including using data to frame problems and support decisions.
• Bonus: 10+ years of experience in relevant roles, including supporting senior leadership and complex organizations; PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications; experience operating across HR/workforce planning, Finance, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition, Data & Analytics, Program Management, and Business Operations; experience with cloud infrastructure, data centers, or other complex, capital-intensive environments; strong financial and organizational acumen, including budgeting and headcount/workforce planning.
