The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at Mary Kay Global, located in Addison, TX or Lewisville, TX. Mary Kay is one of the world’s leading beauty and skincare companies, known for its iconic brand, entrepreneurial spirit, and people-first culture. Corporate teams support Independent Beauty Consultants around the globe through innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to enriching lives. This role is designed to give undergraduate and graduate students meaningful, real-world experience, offering the opportunity to contribute to projects and solve business challenges within the finance function.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, 10 weeks)
• Location: In-person, Addison, TX or Lewisville, TX
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Mary Kay’s Finance team partners cross-functionally across the organization.
• Mission: This person helps ensure the company has the financial resources to enrich women’s lives around the world, supporting strategic initiatives and enabling data-driven decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze business performance to support strategic initiatives across the organization.
• Enable: Enable data-driven decision-making by partnering cross-functionally with various teams.
• Safeguard: Safeguard company assets through detailed analysis and a commitment to integrity.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with teams across the business, contributing to areas such as Corporate Tax, Reporting & Analysis, Finance & Operations, or Corporate Accounting.
• Contribute: Contribute to meaningful projects and solve real business challenges within the finance function.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree and enrolled in an accredited university program (full-time undergraduate or part-time/full-time graduate students). Preferred degrees include Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar. This is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Skills: Strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills to interact with business leaders and stakeholders, and effective organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
• Bonus: Rising juniors and seniors are preferred for this program.
