What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of Federal Tax Returns and supporting tax adjustments.
• Indirect Tax Support: Assist with the preparation of property tax and sales tax returns.
• Accounting Collaboration: Partner with the accounting team to assist in the monthly closing process, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Process Improvement: Provide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.
• Special Projects: Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited university, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. Preferred degree programs include Tax, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Experience: A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded) is a mandatory requirement and must be clearly listed on your resume. Candidates must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA, for the entire Spring 2027 semester, commencing in January 2027. The minimum duration for this spring internship is 14–16 weeks.
• Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills are considered essential for success in this role. The ability to work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership initiative is also required.
• Bonus: Preferred skills include knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools.
