This is an early career program at Shell, a global energy company operating in the United States. This comprehensive program is designed to develop future leaders who will embark on a 3-year journey. Participants will be equipped with essential tools to enhance leadership skills, tackle energy-related challenges, and contribute to the company’s strategic goals.
The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Location: In-person Texas, California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New Jersey; specifically Houston, San Diego, Deer Park, Geismar, New Orleans, Norco, Monaca, Sewaren, Galena Park
• Pay: $74000–$138000 yearly
• Mission: Develop into future leaders who analyze situations, propose purposeful solutions, and tackle energy-related challenges.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze situations and propose purposeful solutions that align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and nurture professional relationships.
• Share unique perspectives and fresh ideas on how to tackle energy-related challenges.
• Engage in on-the-job training, formal education, job rotations, and personalized coaching.
• Work on meaningful projects with exciting responsibilities right from the start.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have graduated prior to your first day at Shell, with less than three years of relevant work experience. Minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20 required. This includes candidates from Bachelors to PhD degrees across various majors.
• Experience: Must be in your final year of study or have less than three years of relevant work experience. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or possess valid work authorization without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (except for specific PhD/Master’s cases).
• Skills: Capacity to absorb information, analyze problems, make objective decisions, and generate original ideas; drive and resilience to achieve goals; flexibility to collaborate effectively within a team; credibility to influence others; openness to alternative perspectives; adaptability to changing environments; learner mindset; drive to deliver results.
• Bonus: Work authorization sponsorship may be provided for PhD and Master’s candidates in certain disciplines.
