The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career program at Whirlpool Corporation, requiring domestic relocation with an initial placement in Southwest Michigan. Whirlpool is a leading home appliance company, driving innovation through its portfolio of iconic brands like Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag. This program is designed to fast-track career trajectories by providing a strong foundation in brands, sales strategy, merchandising, and operations, preparing participants for diverse leadership roles within the company.
The TL;DR

• Mission: Develop future sales and marketing leaders by building a strong foundation in business operations, sales strategies, and brand representation to drive increased sales and market share.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Immersive Training: Gain comprehensive knowledge of Whirlpool’s brands, products, consumers, and market approach during an initial three-month program.
• First Rotation (Sell Thru): Serve as a Territory Sales Representative, managing 30+ retail stores in a dedicated geographical territory, cultivating relationships, and collaborating with partners to drive strategic initiatives for increased sales and market share.
• Second Rotation (Sell In): Transition into a Market Development Representative role, cultivating relationships with 50+ small to medium-sized dealers to drive sales performance, manage balance of floor, and grow the builder pipeline.
• Career Progression: Advance into various roles within Sales, Marketing, and beyond at Whirlpool Corporation upon successful completion of the program.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA.
• Experience: Must have indefinite US work authorization and be willing to travel and relocate domestically.
• Skills: Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, along with the ability to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance.
• Bonus: A Marketing or Sales degree, previous internship or leadership experience, strong public speaking and influencing skills, and a proven track record of success with quantitative and qualitative results are preferred.
