What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information and prepare comprehensive financial reports related to assets, liabilities, profit and loss, or tax liability.
• General Ledger Management: Perform basic accounting activities and take responsibility for the maintenance of general ledger related accounts.
• Quality Control: Initiate and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency in workflow.
• Problem Resolution: Analyze issues and make independent recommendations to solve problems of varying complexity, adhering to organizational objectives and guidelines.
• Work Organization: Organize, prioritize, and plan personal work assignments effectively to meet deadlines, while also carrying out tasks directed by management staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to four years if non-degreed; this is an entry-level position.
• Experience: No specific years of work-related experience are required for this entry-level role.
• Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, possessing job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete accounting tasks, capacity to learn and apply applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines, strong attention to detail, time-conscious and time-effective work habits, and the ability to provide proof of U.S. citizenship as required.
• Bonus: Education or experience in business or finance is preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate basic knowledge in the use of PC-based business applications and possess sufficient skills to learn automated payroll, accounting, and other business applications. Good interpersonal and communication skills, along with good leadership and decision-making skills, are also advantageous.
