Relationship Banker – Boonton Branch | JPMorgan Chase

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prioritize Client Relationships: Put clients first by delivering attentive, friendly service and creating a welcoming environment, while proactively managing and meeting with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships.
• Tailor Financial Solutions: Understand client financial needs through clear, consultative communication, then tailor product and service recommendations, connecting them to specialized experts when necessary.
• Promote Digital Convenience: Educate clients on and connect them to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, empowering them with flexible banking options.
• Develop Product Expertise: Quickly and accurately learn all banking products, services, and procedures to effectively consult with clients on thoughtful financial solutions.
• Uphold Compliance Standards: Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements to ensure operational integrity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent, with a foundational understanding of sales principles in a client-facing environment.
• Experience: 1+ year of direct sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or other related industries, with a demonstrated history of establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and consistently delivering results.
• Skills:
* Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, with a proven ability to adapt product and service benefits to diverse client needs.
* Strong ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues, maintaining attention to detail and providing a consistent client experience.
* Capability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completing all required training.
* Possession of or the ability to obtain within 180 days of hire: Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, relevant state registration (including Series 63 if required), and Life licenses.
• Bonus: A college degree or military equivalent; prior experience successfully adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
