• Mission: Become familiar with current tax theories and laws and perform tax procedures accurately, thoroughly, and timely according to firm standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Deliverables: Prepare a variety of client tax returns, including those for Individuals, Partnerships, and Corporations.
• Issue Identification: Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and trial balances using client-provided or audited information.
• Tax Research: Research filing requirements and tax issues by utilizing internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant guidance.
• Project Management: Manage daily client workflow and oversee multiple client projects concurrently.
• Documentation: Draft tax technical memorandums to document research and findings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, with a plan to complete 150 credit hours for CPA licensure.
• Experience: Prior work or internship experience, with accounting experience being a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, sharp critical thinking, advanced Excel proficiency, and strong PowerPoint skills.
• Bonus: Minimum GPA of 3.2 in both major and overall, leadership positions in extracurricular activities, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
