What You’ll Actually Do
• SEC Filings: Prepare and support Form 10-Q and 10-K filings, including earnings releases, executive summaries, call scripts, and tie-out binders.
• General Ledger Management: Handle general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses for debt, goodwill, intangibles, equity, and stock compensation.
• Technical Accounting Research: Research evolving US GAAP guidance, ensure compliance, and prepare supporting documentation for complex transactions and M&A integrations.
• Process Optimization: Maintain reporting procedures for internal control compliance and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Audit Collaboration: Work directly with internal and external auditors during interim reviews and annual audits, and tackle ad-hoc executive projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: 1–2 years of public accounting experience with significant SEC exposure, OR 2–3 years of direct SEC financial reporting experience.
• Skills: Expertise in US GAAP and SEC rules, ability to research complex accounting issues independently, intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, strong organizational skills, and effective communication.
• Bonus: CPA designation (or in process) and experience with ERP systems.
