Senior Construction Broker | WTW

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at WTW, with a focus on expanding presence across Florida and nationally. WTW is a global advisory, broking, and solutions company that helps clients turn risk into a path for growth. This role is crucial for a fast-growing production team, driving an ambitious growth strategy by securing complex construction insurance placements and building key client and carrier relationships to position WTW as a leading advisor in the residential and commercial real estate sectors.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive strategic insurance solutions using creative capacity for Builder’s Risk and Complex Casualty.
• Cultivate strong relationships with both carriers and senior client management.
• Market new business, secure best-in-market terms, negotiate complex programs, and place challenging risks.
• Design customized coverage to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry.
• Oversee renewals and verify policy language matches negotiated terms.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level professional with a preferred Bachelor’s degree, ideally in insurance, demonstrating deep technical expertise in complex casualty broking.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in complex casualty broking, including underwriting or analytical work, with proven success managing large, multi-plan, multi-state clients.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, ability to solve complex problems, client-first orientation, deep technical knowledge of insurance contracts and structures, and strong knowledge of E&O avoidance and resolution.
• Bonus: Professional designations are preferred, along with familiarity with the global marketplace, including London and Bermuda.
