The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Wintrust Bank, located within its extensive branch network across Illinois, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin, or commercial banking offices. What You’ll Actually Do
• Portfolio Management: Maintain and develop existing client portfolios by assessing and supporting all banking and customized lending solution needs of high-net-worth clients, aiming for profitable growth.
• Relationship Development: Explore new opportunities to develop relationships through creative credit and non-credit solutions, leveraging other business partners.
• Loan Structuring: Negotiate proper loan structures and effectively cross-sell banking and lending products to clients.
• Risk Mitigation: Ensure consistency in deal structuring to align client needs with appropriate risk mitigation through detailed analysis and credit underwriting, including presenting at Loan Committee.
• Documentation and Collections: Maintain properly documented files, manage renewals, and oversee collection efforts for past due and defaulted loans.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior level banker with a College Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Economics preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth clients, plus hands-on experience in applying deep credit expertise, working knowledge of investment portfolios and trust solutions, and demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
• Skills: Deep credit expertise, credit underwriting, risk identification, financial analysis, loan structure negotiation, cross-selling, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Bonus: Formal credit training.
