Business Management – Account Coordinator (Assistant Bookkeeper) | HCVT
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at HCVT, located in Los Angeles, CA, offering a hybrid work model. HCVT is an accounting and advisory firm that provides Tax, Audit, Advisory, and Business Management services to a diverse range of clients, including private and public companies, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. This Account Coordinator role is essential to the Business Management team, directly contributing to protecting client assets and preserving value through meticulous financial operations and a concierge approach to service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Payable: Perform heavy accounts payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Daily Deposits: Handle daily financial deposits for client accounts.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts precisely.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries as required for client records.
• Workflow Management: Manage and prioritize the day-to-day workflow efficiently.
• Client Interaction: Interact professionally with clients regarding their financial matters.
• Project Support: Complete tasks or projects assigned by supervisory figures within the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting is preferred, and/or some related work experience in a financial or bookkeeping capacity.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple corresponding deadlines with high productivity, along with a detail-oriented approach to tasks. Availability for necessary seasonal overtime, particularly during tax busy seasons.
• Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook; strong verbal and written communication skills with sound judgment; effective multi-tasking and time-management abilities; and a team player attitude with proven people skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Agilink software.
