• Mission: This person ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records through diligent entry, reconciliation, and reporting to support the organization’s financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recording: Records all routine and non-recurring accounting entries accurately.
• Reconciliation: Prepares account reconciliations to the general ledger.
• Reporting: Prepares financial statements and various financial reports.
• Review: Reviews financial statements and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Analysis: Performs both routine and special project financial analyses as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s level degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to record accounting entries, prepare account reconciliations, and perform financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Skills: General ledger accounting, account reconciliation, financial reporting, financial statement preparation, financial analysis.
• Bonus: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred.
