What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Actively participate in a 12-month development program to learn LG&E business operations and develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training.
• Sales Project Leadership: Lead and administer special projects in sales execution, supporting a general sales manager and their team of territory managers.
• Customer Solutions Development: Collaborate in a team environment to develop customer-focused solutions and comprehensive sales strategies.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot specific customer problems onsite, sharing technical knowledge and recommending effective solutions to customers.
• Business Generation & Account Management: Engage in cold calling to potential customers to generate new business and supervise a portfolio of customer accounts by promoting sales and negotiating product supply agreements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Communications.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience, including internships, and demonstrated leadership through campus activities, clubs, sports, or community involvement.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
