• Mission: This person ensures the accuracy and integrity of costing and inventory data to support financial reporting and operational insights for the manufacturing plant.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Inventory Management: Assist with tracking, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Costing & BOMs: Maintain and review Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product costing within the ERP system.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and support reporting for plant leadership.
• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; suitable for an early-career accounting professional.
• Experience: 0–3 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Bonus: Manufacturing or inventory experience, ERP system experience, or familiarity with inventory or costing modules.
