The Tone:

This position is crucial for ensuring the faithful stewardship of resources that support the organization’s global ministry efforts. The Staff Accountant will manage financial operations to enable the team to develop technology solutions for the Great Commission with excellence and integrity.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Donation Processing: Process and deposit donations, ensuring accurate record-keeping in QuickBooks.
• Reporting: Generate and verify donor reports for various payment batches and schedules.
• Expense Management: Review, approve, and process expense reports and reimbursements.
• Credit Card Management: Manage credit card transactions and assign charges to appropriate accounts.
• Purchase Orders: Create purchase orders and coordinate approvals for recurring expenses.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for the gospel, committed to SonSet Solutions’ Statement of Faith, bringing accounting and finance expertise.
• Experience: Experience with accounting software is required.
• Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, skilled in financial record-keeping and report generation, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable with ACH/credit card processing, trustworthy and committed to financial stewardship and accountability.
• Bonus: Ideal experience includes QuickBooks and Donor Perfect software.
