What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for review and presentation.
• Maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts daily and monitor project-related costs closely.
• Support all month-end and year-end closing activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Utilize accounting software to record transactions, generate reports, and ensure compliance with policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting, coupled with an understanding of GAAP and basic tax concepts relevant to a construction or project-based environment.
• Experience: Proven experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, along with maintaining accurate general ledger records. Proficiency in accounting software and related tools for transaction recording and financial report generation is required.
• Skills: Demonstrated analytical skills for reviewing financial trends, variances, and project costs effectively. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding setting. Effective communication skills for collaborative work with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Bonus: Previous experience in construction accounting or project accounting.
