This is a full-time, direct hire Accountant role at Aegis Worldwide, located in Fort Worth, TX. The company is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization. This position is crucial for supporting the financial operations of a plant environment, requiring an early-career accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial information and partnering with operations to understand the story behind the numbers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Manage daily accounting and financial activities for a manufacturing or plant operation.
• Analyze: Evaluate plant expenses, production costs, inventory levels, and budget performance.
• Close: Assist with month-end close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Investigate: Review production and financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and variances, communicating findings to plant leadership.
• Report: Prepare financial reports and analysis to aid operational and management decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; early-career accounting professional.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience preferred. Recent graduates with relevant manufacturing internships or co-op experience are encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and general data analysis; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with operational teams and explaining financial information; detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bonus: Manufacturing, plant, inventory, or cost accounting experience; experience with an ERP system, particularly SAP.
