The Tone:
This is an Accounting Internship at EquipmentShare, located at the Home Office in Columbia, Missouri, for the Spring of 2027. The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Record Keeping: Assist with preparing journal entries, entering data, and recording accurate financial records.
• Data Management: Utilize spreadsheet tools, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to manage and report data.
• Month-End Support: Help reconcile accounts and contribute to other month-end closing responsibilities.
• Financial Reporting: Aid in the preparation of financial reports, trend analysis, and peer company comparisons.
• Process Documentation: Document process flows for key business processes, identifying systems, risks, and internal controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting as a senior level or graduate student, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Demonstrated foundational understanding of GAAP and core financial principles through satisfactorily completed accounting-related courses.
• Skills: Proficiency with Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and macros; strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, including the capacity to multitask effectively; excellent communication skills, coupled with a positive attitude towards new challenges.
