Audit Intern – Summer 2027 | KerberRose

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at KerberRose, with opportunities available in Appleton, Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Wausau. KerberRose is a Wisconsin-based CPA firm providing audit, tax, accounting, and advisory services to clients throughout the state, recognized among Inside Public Accounting’s Top 200 Firms. This role is essential for helping governmental and nonprofit clients maintain financial integrity and achieve their goals, while fostering an environment where interns can learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact through a people-first philosophy and a focus on community.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Assist with financial and compliance audits for governmental and/or nonprofit organizations.
• Prepare: Prepare audit workpapers and document audit procedures.
• Analyze: Analyze financial records and test account balances.
• Participate: Participate in client meetings and interact with client personnel.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with audit team members to meet engagement deadlines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an Accounting Program at a 4-year university. Must be at the Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and with others when necessary; Excellent organization and time management skills; Ability to work daytime hours Monday-Friday.
