What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationships: Build professional relationships with clients and team members.
• Compliance: Adhere to firm policies and procedures to ensure efficient and professional work.
• Tax Knowledge: Apply foundational knowledge of technical tax requirements.
• Preparation: Prepare and scan tax returns for various clients.
• Application: Utilize microcomputer applications routinely used in tax services.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university, with at least 75% of coursework completed.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member on diverse client engagements, showcasing strong communication and computer skills. Proven capability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Skills: Fundamental understanding of basic technical tax requirements; proficiency in utilizing relevant microcomputer applications for tax-related tasks.
• Bonus: Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with availability for weekend work; willingness to travel frequently to client sites and other firm locations.
