What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing Procedures: Perform substantive auditing procedures within assigned areas.
• Work Understanding: Obtain a clear understanding of the work to be performed and its specific purpose.
• Documentation: Prepare working papers that adequately document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions.
• Principle Application: Remain alert to the proper and consistent application of accounting principles while performing audit procedures.
• Deficiency Identification: Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters that warrant management’s attention.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position. Requires two or more years of university education completed, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, proven ability to work independently and as a team, ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others, and a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
