The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to a manager/supervisor and collaborates with other Financial Accountants.
• Mission: Ensures communication and compliance with accounting policies and procedures, assisting with accurate financial information analysis and reporting for the Club.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Assist with compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare general ledger entries, supporting the timely and accurate completion of monthly closings.
• Reconcile: Help prepare account reconciliations, analysis, accruals, and journal entries for senior management monthly and external auditors annually.
• Process: Process general ledger entries, assist with account analysis, and work with internal and external customers to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Monitor: Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and internal policies, identifying opportunities for procedural enhancement and recommending improvements.
• Support: Provide assistance to other Financial Accountants with reconciliation issues as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of related accounting experience.
• Skills: Standardized application of GAAP accounting principles, financial information analysis, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and compliance monitoring.
