What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing: Perform substantive auditing procedures in assigned areas to systematically examine financial records and supporting documentation.
• Planning: Obtain a clear understanding of the specific work tasks to be performed and the underlying purpose behind each audit procedure.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive working papers that adequately document all tests performed and the detailed procedures followed, substantiating the conclusions reached during the audit.
• Compliance: Remain alert to and ensure the proper and consistent application of established accounting principles throughout all audit procedures.
• Reporting: Identify and document any discovered control deficiencies or other significant matters that require the attention of management for resolution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates are required to have completed two or more years of university education by the time the internship begins, and must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, is a required qualification for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills are essential. The ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team is required, alongside a general willingness to cooperate with others. A high degree of discretion is also necessary when dealing with confidential information.
