What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries and assist with the monthly close process.
• Account Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile various general ledger accounts.
• Meeting Participation: Attend monthly departmental meetings to gain insight into operations.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with different teams within the Finance and Accounting department.
• Project Completion: Complete various assigned projects and present results to team members periodically.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with an entry-level understanding of core financial principles.
• Experience: A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, proficient communication skills for reporting and interaction, and effective presentation skills for conveying project results.
• Bonus: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a business group, and a flexible willingness to assist other team members with projects as needed.
