Management Trainee | Cintas

The Tone:
This is a full-time position at Cintas, located in various regional locations with expectations of in-person work. Cintas is a publicly held Fortune 500 company providing products and services that help over a million businesses ensure their facilities and employees are clean, safe, and presentable daily. This Management Trainee program is designed to kickstart professional careers, developing leadership skills and providing hands-on experience across various business operations to prepare individuals for career advancement opportunities within the company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Immersion: Rotate through various departments to gain an in-depth leadership perspective on Cintas’s business operations.
• Sales Engagement: Promote products and services and build strong customer relationships through active participation in outside sales activities.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to assist in making informed business decisions and improve operational strategies.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with key leaders on diverse projects focused on sales management and enhancing operational efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree, or actively pursuing and obtaining one within six months.
• Experience: Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for driving a regulated vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs, including having an active driver’s license, being at least 21 years of age, obtaining a DOT medical certification, and providing documentation of previous employment.
• Skills: Customer relationship building, data analysis, problem-solving for customer issues, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: Prior co-op or internship experience in customer service, sales, production, or administrative functions; an academic major in business or a related field; participation in campus leadership roles or related extracurricular activities; and willingness to relocate regionally during or at the end of the program.
