This is a full-time, early-career development program initially located in Louisville, KY, with required geographic mobility upon completion. • Team: Initially the Inside Sales team at the National Sales Center.
• Mission: To build foundational sales and leadership skills for early-career professionals, providing a direct path to a field-based sales manager role.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Engagement: Actively participate in the 2.5-year Commercial Development Program, which includes Retail Inside Sales, Contract (Builder) Inside Sales, Cross-Commercial Experience, and Seminar Training Courses.
• Inside Sales Management: Manage and build significant Retail and Contract (Builder) businesses from the National Sales Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
• Territory and Portfolio Oversight: Develop sales skills and business acumen by managing assigned territories, overseeing 100+ customers, and contributing to annual sales portfolios of $10,000,000 to $20,000,000.
• Headquarters Rotation: Complete a 3-6 month Headquarters Assignment (Cross Commercial Experience) to gain a comprehensive understanding of the overall business, industry, customers, and internal teams.
• Leadership Progression: Interview for and accept a field-based Area Sales Manager position located across the U.S. upon successful completion of the program rotations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher completed within 24 months prior to the January 2027 start date, with legal authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not provided), and a commitment to geographic mobility within the United States upon program completion.
• Experience: Early-career professional with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0).
• Skills: Possess excellent communication and organization skills, be self-directed and motivated to succeed, ability to develop, organize, and analyze sales plans, and have schedule flexibility for various time zone requirements.
