The Tone:
This is an internship opportunity with Kroll’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Team. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Pay: $20–$35 hourly
• Team: Global Mergers & Acquisitions Team
• Mission: Support middle-market companies through sellside, buyside, and capital raising transactions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support senior management teams and gain exposure to clients, board members, and stakeholders during all phases of transaction advisory and execution.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in financial modeling and analytics for M&A, restructuring, and special situations deal teams.
• Document Creation: Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets for M&A assignments.
• Research & Due Diligence: Perform company, industry, market, and competitor research and due diligence.
• Deal Coordination: Maintain open communication between the deal team and potential M&A buyers/sellers, manage the data room, and coordinate management meetings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level internship for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Management (with a concentration in Accounting, Economics or Finance), Economics or other related degree (with a minimum of four Junior and/or Senior level courses in Accounting, Economics or Finance) from an accredited university or college.
• Experience: Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028, and a minimum Major GPA of 3.2. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. The ability to obtain FINRA Series 79, 63 & 7 certification is a requirement for this role.
• Skills: Possess excellent quantitative, writing, and communication skills; demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exhibit critical and detail-oriented thinking with the ability to quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information and master new tasks rapidly; and show the ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements, and manage rapidly changing assignments effectively within a team environment.
