The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal, Part-time/Full-time (16–24 hours per week during spring and fall semester; 30–40 hours per week during summer months)
• Location: In-person Akron, OH
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Financial Operations team, supporting the Commissions team
• Mission: Support internal operations by executing day-to-day activities to ensure accurate and timely financial processing and representative compensation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Maintenance: Maintain data associated with Agent of Record changes to ensure advisor and account information remains accurate across systems.
• Code Management: Monitor, update, and correct representative codes tied to accounts involved in Agent of Record changes.
• Reconciliation Support: Support reconciliation efforts for Third-Party Money Manager accounts, collaborating with external vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Issue Resolution: Research and help resolve commission payment discrepancies to support accurate and timely processing.
• Status Verification: Verify account statuses across multiple systems to ensure timely and accurate commission processing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field; authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience: No prior professional experience explicitly required; this role provides foundational experience in finance and operations.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy; analytical and problem-solving skills; clear written and verbal communication; ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities; comfort working with data and learning new systems.
