Wealth Management Intern (Summer 2027) | Corient

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Corient, located in New York, NY. Corient is the world’s largest multi-family office and non-bank wealth manager, operating as a global professional services partnership that serves ultra-high- and high-net-worth clients. This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s mission to help clients manage their wealth, simplify their lives, and establish lasting legacies. The intern will contribute directly to client service and financial planning processes, gaining valuable experience within a leading wealth management firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Preparation: Prepare comprehensive materials for client presentations, including financial independence, education projections, net worth statements, and cash flow reports.
• Financial Analysis: Review, summarize, and analyze client financial information across areas like risk management, retirement, benefits, taxes, and estate planning.
• Template Development: Assist in the creation of customized financial planning templates tailored for specific client meetings and needs.
• Research Support: Conduct research on various financial planning topics as required to support client strategies and firm initiatives.
• Document Management: Manage and maintain client and firm-related documents efficiently within the established document management system.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ideally positioned to be a rising junior or senior by Summer 2027, with a basic understanding of financial planning and investment concepts.
• Experience: Familiarity with insurance, estate planning, and tax principles.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional organizational skills with acute attention to detail; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Bonus: Demonstrates an extraordinary client service attitude; upholds high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity; is a collaborative team player.
