Cadillac Sales Planning Manager | General Motors

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sales Planning: Develop comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for the Cadillac portfolio, preparing accurate sales forecasts based on market demand, historical performance, customer orders, and vehicle availability, while recommending volume and mix priorities to maximize business results.
• Inventory Management: Track vehicle allocations, pipeline, stock levels, shipments, and dealer inventory across the Cadillac portfolio, aligning sales plans with product availability and logistics timelines, and identifying potential overstock or shortages to recommend corrective actions.
• Dealer Performance: Set and monitor dealer sales targets in line with market potential and Cadillac business objectives, providing regular updates on vehicle availability and sales priorities, and analyzing dealer performance to identify opportunities for improved productivity, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, and pricing movements within the premium segment, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations to support key pricing, incentive, launch, and overall sales strategy decisions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, supply chain, logistics, finance, and aftersales teams to coordinate sales plans with product launches and marketing campaigns, ensuring timely communication of commercial priorities and driving alignment between strategy and execution.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with significant experience in automotive sales planning, commercial operations, or sales analysis.
• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in the same field, with proven expertise in forecasting, target setting, performance reporting, and business planning within the automotive sales cycle.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in stakeholder management.
• Bonus: Experience with premium or luxury automotive brands, managing sales planning for multiple models or markets, exposure to vehicle importation and logistics planning, and familiarity with regional automotive market dynamics and new model launches.
