Staff Accountant | U.S. Renal Care

This Staff Accountant role is pivotal in supporting the company’s financial operations by performing essential accounting functions and assisting the Senior Accountant with month-end close processes. • Mission: This person performs core accounting tasks, with a primary focus on labor accounting and reporting, and supports the month-end close process.
• Tech Stack: ADP, Concur Fees, Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Intermediate Excel), USRC applications. Preferred: Great Plains, D365, ADP Workforce, ADP General Ledger.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Payroll: Generate payroll reports from ADP and accurately prepare and post all payroll, HSA, 401K, and PTO entries, along with recording the allocation of Payroll and Concur Fees.
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform daily bank entries and reconciliations, conduct comprehensive monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and diligently research and resolve any identified payroll variances.
• Prepare Reports: Develop and present detailed monthly variance reports to support ongoing financial analysis and decision-making.
• Support Operations: Assist with miscellaneous payroll allocation requests, other related accounting duties, and special projects as required, always maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll data.
• Collaborate Effectively: Actively promote GUEST customer service standards, develop effective relationships across the organization, and participate in team concepts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level career experience in accounting. Intermediate Excel skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and USRC applications within 90 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer service expertise. Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Bonus: Previous experience with Great Plains, D365, ADP Workforce, or ADP General Ledger.
