What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Functions: Perform routine accounting functions and balance sheet reconciliations for client accounts.
• AP Management: Manage accounts payable processes and maintain vendor records.
• Payroll Processing: Process payroll and payroll tax reporting activities.
• Tax Filing: Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time.
• Annual Reporting: Assist with annual information reporting requirements, including 1099 filings.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. This is an early career role in client advisory services.
• Experience: Completion of a previous accounting internship or relevant accounting experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Professional, personable, and client-focused demeanor.
• Bonus: Public accounting experience; Experience with QuickBooks Online.
