What You’ll Actually Do
• Educate: Build upon and expand your existing classroom education with practical application in a professional services environment.
• Audit: Work directly with Dean Dorton clients to execute comprehensive financial statement audits, applying learned principles to real-world scenarios.
• Train: Participate in structured audit, accounting, and relevant software training programs designed to enhance your technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Mentor: Engage in mentoring opportunities with Audit Partners, gaining insights into best practices, professional workplace skills, and career development within the firm.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College.
• Experience: Candidates are expected to be currently enrolled in a relevant program, indicating foundational academic exposure to accounting and business principles.
• Skills: Possess a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate strong analytical skills for data interpretation, and exhibit strong communication skills for effective team and client interaction.
