The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bank of America, located in Boulder, CO. This role is crucial in helping clients pursue their financial goals, offering guidance on retirement, education, and legacy planning through investment advice. What You’ll Actually Do
• Licensing: Obtain your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license within 60 days of hire, and your Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 120 days through structured lessons and dedicated study time.
• Client Relationship Building: Acquire, build, and manage client relationships by considering their complex financial pictures and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives.
• Holistic Financial Guidance: Deliver phone-based holistic financial advice and guidance to clients, identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings, and liability management needs.
• Investment Strategy: Demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, applying key principles appropriate to individual client investment needs and preparing recommendations for affluent and high net worth clients.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to all of the solutions provided through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all of their financial needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
• Experience: Required to obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) within 60 days of hire, and Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 120 days; Series 63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66.
• Skills: Confidently work in a sales role; build strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration; demonstrate a proactive mindset and effective time management; apply relevant regulatory due diligence in daily activities and creating long-term client strategies; demonstrate a results-driven mindset and prioritize client interests; identify appropriate client solutions through application of learnings and new information.
• Bonus: Learns and adapts to new technology or applications; executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
