What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement Participation: Work on various aspects of an audit engagement, including examining cash, performing bank reconciliations, reviewing accounts payable, and actively searching for unrecorded liabilities.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed confirmation logs and prepare comprehensive audit work papers to support financial statements.
• Client Service and Support: Assist in performing audits, reviews, compilations, and providing general accounting services to clients across diverse industries.
• Problem Resolution: Take part in resolving audit issues by effectively obtaining necessary evidence and conducting inquiries with clients.
• Daily Workflow Management: Support the team with daily client workflow and operational tasks, ensuring smooth project progression.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, and on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience within student groups, activities, or team projects; successful completion of Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
• Skills: A minimum 3.2 GPA in both the major and overall coursework; excellent communication abilities; sharp critical thinking skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change.
