What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing Management: Support the execution of sourcing activities across technology categories and assist in developing sourcing strategies.
• Vendor Evaluation: Partner with Technology and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop evaluation criteria, and assess vendor solutions.
• Commercial Support: Coordinate sourcing events, prepare documentation, and participate in commercial discussions and contract reviews with suppliers.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build productive working relationships with Technology, Procurement, Finance, Risk, and business teams to facilitate timely completion of activities.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure sourcing activities adhere to internal procurement, governance, and third-party risk management requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Procurement. This is a Senior Associate/AVP level role focused on technology sourcing and vendor management within a financial institution.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in technology sourcing, procurement, vendor management, consulting, or related disciplines, including a minimum of three years sourcing within a financial institution in a tech category.
• Skills: Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; Good commercial awareness; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, ITIL, or Cloud certifications. Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
