The Tone:
This is a full-time role at IQ-EQ, offering a hybrid work schedule. IQ-EQ provides fund administration services to leading private equity clients. This role is crucial for managing complex fund operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and facilitating clear investor communications. The Senior Manager will directly support these key clients, leading multiple engagements and driving operational excellence.

• Mission: This person owns the oversight and execution of fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications for leading private equity clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Leadership: Lead client relationships across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring expectations are met and timelines are followed for all deliverables.
• Agreement Application: Apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to guide fund operations, reporting, and investor communications.
• Financial Component Management: Prepare and review key financial components, including journal entries, capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics such as IRR.
• Operational Management: Manage audits, tax requests, and financial statement reviews while continuously improving operational processes across engagements.
• Team Development: Prioritize tasks, respond to client requests, and train junior team members to support overall team development and efficiency.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, providing a solid foundation for specialized work within alternative asset firms.
• Experience: Over five years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a mix of both within alternative asset firms.
• Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting, finance, and fund administration, coupled with expertise in applying limited partnership agreements and delivering exceptional client service.
