• Team: Directly responsible for building, coaching, and mentoring the quality team at their division.
• Mission: Lead and foster a culture of quality at the operating location by directly managing day-to-day quality activities and ensuring compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cultivate: Lead and foster a proactive culture of quality at the operating location, actively engaging the team to enhance safety across all NTS operations.
• Oversee: Directly manage all day-to-day quality activities specific to the division, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to standards.
• Develop: Build, coach, and mentor the division’s quality team, providing comprehensive training and development on quality requirements and established procedures.
• Analyze: Systematically track and report on key quality performance indicators, including back charges and rework, providing insights across all relevant departments.
• Assure: Ensure steadfast compliance with all established procedures, conduct rigorous internal and external audits, identify potential areas of risk, and proactively make recommendations for improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Supervisor/Manager. Managerial role within quality for a fabrication shop, specifically one holding AISC or ISO certifications.
• Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in a Quality Management role, combined with proven experience in handling AISC certifications and managing related audit processes. Demonstrated experience in customer interactions, resolving field issues, and conducting audits is essential.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding codes; proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Visual Testing (VT); effective communication skills; and a process-minded approach to quality management.
