This is an entry-level role at Compunnel Inc., a global organization specializing in IT solutions and staffing services for diverse industries. This Accountant position is fundamental to maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of the company’s operations. The role ensures precise financial record-keeping, provides critical support for both internal and external audits, and serves as a vital liaison across various finance departments and with key internal and external customers. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of financial reporting and the efficiency of accounting processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Accounts Receivable Operations: Perform regular monthly accounts receivable tasks, including processing, tracking, and documenting all transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Conduct Financial Analysis and Reconciliation: Systematically analyze various account balances, thoroughly investigate unusual items or discrepancies, accurately determine necessary adjustments, and meticulously complete comprehensive reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Process Journal Entries and Resolve Issues: Review and post a variety of journal entries, proactively investigate and swiftly resolve any accounting issues identified through diligent research of financial documents, and effectively follow up with relevant internal or external parties as needed to ensure closure.
• Collaborate and Provide Accounting Support: Coordinate extensively with other accounting, finance, and internal operational areas to analyze complex financial questions, collaboratively determine optimal resolutions, and provide informed accounting guidance and essential assistance as required across the organization.
• Handle Cross-Border Financial Transactions: Accurately post, review, and reconcile complex cross-border charges and transactions, providing detailed summaries, comprehensive supporting documentation, and any other required financial information. This also involves consulting, interpreting, and applying relevant accounting policies and procedures specific to international transactions.
